The Art Lounge AK is a vibrant and inclusive art studio nestled in the heart of Anchorage, AK. Specializing in fiber arts, we are dedicated to fostering a sense of community and creativity. With a fundamental belief that everyone possesses artistic talents, we strive to cultivate a spirit of imaginative exploration and play. Our studio serves as a welcoming space for communal arts gatherings and aims to kindle the joy of collaborative creation. At The Art Lounge AK, we offer a diverse range of classes, including needle felting, wet felting, eco printing and dying, crochet, and macrame, all taught by some of Anchorage's finest local artists. Our commitment to inclusion and support for local artists, especially women in the fiber arts, is unwavering. Founded in October of 2023 by Darcel Daigh, a seasoned fiber artist and educator with two decades of experience, The Art Lounge AK is dedicated to empowering individuals through the transformative power of fiber arts.
